Here we go, a decent job in the renewable industry.

Production Manager
Bright Generation

Give you some background company established a few years ago and is working on releasing a solar hot water / solar electricity unit as a turn key solution.

Initially it will be marketed towards new homes
Solar hot water side is conergy split system
Solar Power side is Solon Panels and Aurora Power oneinverters

The "collector" all looks the same, ie cells and Solar hot water so visually appealing.

I think the idea is great and takes advantage of as many rebates as you can get, which makes it less cost prohibitive to do both. (about 200RECS for one of these)

1st systems will be set up with 10x 150W (1mx1m) solon frameless panels and 2x 1mx2m hot water solar collectors with elec/gas boosted 310L tank on the ground. Frost tolerant by being a closed loop with antifreeze solution. (developed for Europe where cold more than warm)

Obviously expandable with more of either depending on the budget.

Anyway......
I'm not selling them!
I'm running the shop where all the bits come together into "kits" for installers, responsible for a QA system and getting them out the door.
Certainly more in-tune with my skills as opposed to sales
-where I couldn't sleep at night!
No1 customer is NU-energy at 1000 units this year.
-so they soon will have some offerings in the higher end of the market.

Dont think there will be any mates rates for a while as everything is already spoken for.

Hi Karl

I have a conenergy unit split system 400 ltr it is an excellent system, how the long term goes well that remains to be seen as the monkey said.
When it was first installed I powered it up for 1 day and haven't powered it on since, it is saving me 10 kw a day of my electricity bill, since I had it installed I can watch the meter going backwards for a change.

TOP GEAR

All the best

Thanks Bob
appreciated.

Been holding off on a BBQ -gave my last one away to the brother in law.
Job means new BBQ today, built it backwards as you do, built it again the right way around.
thus as of today, consider me a West Australian!

G'day Karl,
Great to see you found a job in the RE world, now I just had a look at the links but they didn't get any real data on the systems, only a typical aussie website saying contact us. This new system of solar hot water does interest me so if you guys service SA well mate give me a pm and we'll go from there.

Cheers Bryan

Bryan
they do other states normally via NU energy as the solarcombi only

If you just wanted SHWS, supply only is going to be $5K+ delivery
and as we are still going through certification the RECS wouldnt be claimable
until April next year, which is obviously a problem.

Hope this sheds some light
