Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

i will be getting a Fronius IG30 (ip45) unit with my 2kw system in a few weeks....

for the people who have this unit, do you know (or notice?) if when the inverter is outputting very small watts, (low/no sun/overcast etc) is the fan a "smart" fan and it will throttle the speed down, as it does not require so much coooling,

OR does the fan just run at a constant speed regardless of wattage output??

Cheers!
