Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Looks like the charger in my 5.5kV Hybrid is developing a charger issue. Getting an error on a daily basis now. In the process of trying to get the warranty claim rolling... Attached some logs if anyone's curious. I reckon there's on notable anomaly. Phil. 2018-08-11_102003_Logs.zip |

Charging current of 0 is not good. There are only 10 types of people in the world: those who understand binary, and those who don't. |

Temperature dips before each failure. Dunno what that temp actually is, but it has a downward trend before the error. It does still charge, but is now having a daily error. It seems to recover, but somethings definitely dying. The logs a bit flaky, seems to have instantaneous readings. Phil. Edit, Trying to make the image more viewable..... |

Don't know for sure, but those "communication restored" comments may be a clue. First thing I would do would be to replace the communications cable. That will probably not make any difference, but at least its something simple you could try first. Cheers, Tony. |

The Coms issues are nothing, that was me restarting the Laptop. You know the one that's probably only required 2 reboots in the past 9 months & is now having an occasional shutdown, just when you want the logging. I know a few more facts now. 1.- Temperature, wherever it's read from decreases before the error. 2.- If I touch nothing, charging will commence again after the batteries get below 53.0V. The Error 29 message won't clear from the LCD screen until I disconnect that Mains input. Phil. |
