Hi guys,
Just wondering if anyone knew where I can buy 10 Watt mono crystalline panels from.
The cheapest I have found is $39.90 pickup from Whitworths marine.
Some places on ebay say $35 but you have to pay $15 freight to get them. They wont combine freight.
Just thought I would ask, as If you are all like me whenever your see the word panel in advertising your eyes always look for the price. Eternally looking for the mega bargain of the century!

Cheers Damo

get poly or thin film, perform better and typically cost less.

I used to have a hydroponics Web site called "TenGreenThumbs.com" but it's a gonner now. Just thought I'd toss that into the ring for fun.

I'm not going to answer your question, because I'm not that savvy with solar (PV) cells, but here's a hot link to a place that sells a 100-watt panel for $225.00. This thing puts out 5.88 amps and they also sell a charge controller for $26.00.

I also don't know much about shipping stuff across the pond from the US of A to Australia and that may be prohibitively expensive, but if not, maybe you could just buy already-assembled panels. I'm going to be getting two of them. One is for my lights and the other is for my shop machinery (which I've changed over to run on 12-volt d.c.).

Hope this helps you out.
