What about having solar panels which don't make big shadows on your backyard or garden? Maybe they will cost as much as an ordinary glass  - kidding...

there are a few buildings with them now, efficiencies of <5% BUT as you say they are almost clear glass so should be a winner sooner or later Luck favours the well prepared |
