MMReplace is the closest to what you are asking for.
A long time ago MMEdit had a "Library" function but that was back when you only had the one file open. Once I added tabs, it was easier to copy and paste between files.
The best way to proceed would be to do something like MMReplace. The MMEdit help explains how to run an external program and return the processed file back to MMEdit.
If you only include functions as the code is deployed, you loose some of the testing available in MMEdit.
