@Volhout,
I wish I could work out what the difference is between our setups.
It would make finding the errors you are getting much easier.
You can ignore the Timeout error message. It is a loop counter when waiting for a response. When the number approaches 100, I know there is a problem.
I have added a few delays and now only use the temporary file when the target exists.
That won't find the reason for the error but it should get around it.
